How much does a boudoir photoshoot in Lisbon cost?

Accepted Answer

An Umbra Signature session is €640 and includes a 2-hour directed studio shoot, 35 colour and 35 B&W retouched images, a personalised album, and a free pre-shoot consultation call. The shorter Essential session is €490 and includes 25 colour and 25 B&W retouched images. Pricing is fully inclusive, no studio rental or hidden retouching fees.

​Will you share my images?

I would never share your images without your express permission. I understand how personal each shoot is for each of my clients, and their privacy absolutely comes first. If there are some amazing images taken during your session, I may ask permission to share some of our favorites on either my website or social media, but please feel free to say no.

Question 3

What if I'm nervous about posing?

Accepted Answer

It is perfectly natural to be nervous before your shoot. You are about to do a wonderfully brave thing and pose for some intimate portraits. I will be guiding you every step of the way, from the first consultation meeting where we curate your shoot, to posing and positions on the day. If I’ve done my job well, then you will be the one directing me by the end of the shoot.

Do I have to wear lingerie?

Absolutely not! You can wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and confident. This shoot is all about you! Some women choose to wear lingerie, while others prefer to wear pajamas, robes, or even nothing. There is no right or wrong answer, and it is all up to you, so bring along whatever makes you feel best.

Can I bring a friend to my session?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! Your comfort comes first. If you feel uneasy about coming to the shoot on your own, you are absolutely allowed to bring along some moral support. I just ask that no photographs be taken and that whoever you bring does not interfere too much in the shooting process.

Where will we shoot?

Accepted Answer

I mainly shoot in our beautiful studio at Lx Factory, but we could also shoot in a location of your choice. It’s entirely up to you and the look and feel of the images you would like. The location will be discussed at the consultation meeting where we curate your personal shoot.
(*Please note that if do not choose to shoot in the studio then location fees are not included in the package rate.*)

How long does a typical session last?

A shoot can run anything from 40 minutes for a mini-session to 3 hours depending on the complexity of the shoot.

Question 8

What if I don’t know what style of shoot I want?

Accepted Answer

I will walk you through the process every step of the way. It is my job to learn about you and your style so that together we can curate a shoot that showcases your own personal style perfectly. Even if you you are not even sure what that is.

Is hair and makeup included?

Accepted Answer

Hair and makeup are not included, but feel free to ask for recommendations if you would like to have them done for the shoot.

I don’t identify as female. Will you shoot me?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! No matter what your pronouns or how you identify, everyone is welcome. Everyone deserves to look and feel gorgeous and empowered.

Question 11

Do I need any modelling experience to book a session?

Accepted Answer

No. Most clients arrive with no photographic experience and a degree of nervousness. Sienna directs every pose throughout, beginning with clothed editorial work and progressing only as far as each client wants to go. The free consultation call covers any concerns before you book.

Question 12

Where is Umbra Photography based?

Accepted Answer

Umbra is a private studio in Lx Factory, Lisbon, Portugal. The space is fully private during sessions — no walk-ins, no other clients, no visible signage on the door. Address details are shared after a consultation call is confirmed.

Question 13

Can I gift a photoshoot to someone else?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Gift cards are available for both Signature and Essential sessions, redeemable within 12 months of purchase.
